Naomi R. Savitz, MPH


Naomi is detail-oriented and passionate about reducing health disparities. She recognizes successful coalition building as the foundation to improving population health and leads by emphasizing collaboration. To that end, she has served as project manager working jointly with administrators and officials strategically planning, authoring, presenting and implementing community health needs assessments, gap analysis, community health improvement plans and certificate of need applications for healthcare systems, community-focused nonprofit agencies target populations and governmental bodies.

Naomi brings more than a decade of experience successfully designing and implementing state and federally funded maternal and child health initiatives. In addition, she has been recognized by CDC and TQI stakeholders statewide for her expertise in quality improvement indicators. In 2016, Naomi developed a prototype “Disparity Calculator” tool which was adopted by the National Quality Center and is available on the HRSA Target website. A member of the American Public Health Association, Naomi authored and developed poster presentations for multiple annual meetings.

Naomi earned a B.A. from Rutgers College and a Master’s in Public Health from Rutgers University.
